2015 PARKS MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Lincoln Central is fortunate to have three pocket parks, making our community a more desirable place to live. Bauler Park (corner of Cleveland & Wisconsin) is a focal point especially for families and young children. Fire Station Park (1900 block of Larrabee behind the Fire Dept. station) was rebuilt in 2006, extensively replanted in 2011 and now features a community vegetable and herb garden and native Illinois plantings maintained by neighbor volunteers. Lincoln Central Park (corner of Lincoln & Dickens) was renovated in 2000 with an attractive fountain as its centerpiece. This beautifully landscaped park is an ideal place to sit and relax.

The appearance of each park has improved significantly due to the involvement and generosity of local neighbors. Contributions exceeding $80,000 since 2000 have funded numerous enhancements including new plantings and benches in Bauler Park, new bushes and ground cover in Lincoln Central Park and a significant landscaping redesign at Fire Station Park. LCA will continue its involvement in the beautification of your neighborhood through volunteer efforts and donations.

Your donations are crucial and tax deductible. Please support your parks today by contributing at www.lincolncentral.org (Pay Pal) or by sending a check payable to Lincoln Central Association to:
